“Domino” Violin Workshop – Master Stringed Instruments
Our violin-making workshop is located in picturesque Koniaków, in the heart of the Silesian Beskids. For over 25 years, we have been hand-crafting top-class stringed instruments, synonymous with quality and precision.
Each stage of production, from careful selection of wood to final finishing, is carried out directly in our workshop. Thanks to many years of experience and cooperation with German master violin makers, we provide instruments of the highest quality.
My name is Dominik Łupieżowiec and I am the founder and owner of the “Domino” Luthier Workshop. I learned my craft from my father and grandfather – famous sculptors from Trójwieś Beskidzka, as well as from experienced luthiers from Germany.
Since 2000, we have been making all the elements of violins, violas and cellos, which we deliver to renowned violin workshops in Germany. In recent years, we have also specialised in traditional German painting of instruments – using stains, paints and spirit varnishes, which additionally enriches our offer.

Perfection in every detail
The elements of our instruments, such as the bottom plate, top plate, crown and necks, are made of the highest quality maple, while the soundboards are made of exceptionally delicate spruce from Istebna. Other elements, such as fingerboards, pegs, chin rests, buttons and tailpieces, are made of ebony or rosewood as standard, which guarantees their durability and elegance.
Our workshop owes its reputation primarily to the master craftsmen who create instruments with extraordinary precision and perfect proportions. Each piece of wood is carefully selected so that its structure and pattern emphasize the unique character of the instrument.
We also offer the possibility of individual selection of paint and varnish colors, tailored to the customer’s taste. For those who prefer their own finishes, we offer a wide selection of instruments in raw condition (“in white”), ready for further personalization by luthiers or individual buyers.
